On March 27, Governor DeWine signed the Coronavirus Omnibus Legislation (HB197) which suspends, for the period of the COVID-19 emergency, the law requiring an applicant for licensure by examination to have passed the NCLEX examination. Please review the information carefully.  The Board is striving to respond to calls/emails but has prioritized the issuance of licenses to expedite the number of health care workers entering the workforce, so responses will be delayed.  We believe the information below will answer most questions.
